UKF On Air: The Prototypes
We welcome THE PROTOTYPES to UKF On Air for an explosive drum & bass session to celebrate the launch of our summer of bass exploration in partnership with Desperados Inner Tequila Studios.
Exclusively available on our Facebook page, The Prototypes’ mix will showcase the raw power of the bass drop, and this is just the beginning, as UKF and Desperados go in search of the ultimate bass drop.

The live stream will be followed by a mini series of unique short documentaries that explore the art of the drop with three of the best names in these games: UK bass, dubstep and drum & bass, featuring T Q D (Royal-T, DJ Q and Flava D), SKisM and The Prototypes respectively.
Each episode will plot the evolution of the drop as the artists handpick what they believe to be the most important drops in their field. Explaining the roots, the impact, the technical development and future of the drop along the way, every episode will be packed with high impact history and heritage… Hitting just as hard as a precision engineered bass drop itself.
There’s more… Following the documentary mini-series comes a collection of music videos. A unique challenge we’ve laid down for some of the best video directors in the game: we’ve briefed them to showcase the power of the bass drop in visual form, against three of the most innovative, freshest tracks in UK bass, dubstep and drum & bass, each one exclusive to Drop Labs.
Cue the incredible grand finale of our summer of bass music exploration: Desperados will be offering the ultimate bass drop experience… A festival in anti-gravity where a group of lucky winners from around the world will be taken on a zero gravity flight. Soundtracked with exclusive music and performances from top DJs, this truly unique money-can’t-buy prize will allow the winners to experience true bass weightlessness!
