Vagabondz Presents: AZ & DJ Doo Wop – ‘Doe or Die’ 20th Anniversary Tour

In 1995 Brooklyn rapper AZ dropped the now seminal album, Doe or Die. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of D.O.D, AZ is calling in at Jamm to revisit the gold certified album.
Since breaking through on Nas’ classic ’94 album Illmatic, the Grammy-nominated AZ has been consistent in topping critics’ lists as arguably one of the most underrated rappers and lyricists of all time.
Having released eight acclaimed albums featuring production from Joe, Pete Rock, Dr Dre, DJ Premier and Buckwild, AZ has long been one of the pioneers of Mafioso rap alongside Jay-Z and Nas.
Legendary DJ Doo Wop, will be on AZ decks duty. The Bronx DJ has played with all of the greats inc. Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Keith Murray, Redman, Mobb Deep, AZ, Lost Boyz, Puffy, Big Daddy Kane, Memphis Bleek, Beanie Sigel, Guru, Raekwon, MOP, Krs one, Q-tip, Smith & Wesson, Buckshot, 50cent, Big Pun, Big L, Shabba Ranks and many more.
Support on the night comes from Micall Parknsun. The UK rapper is a self-confessed hip-hop junkie. With his two albums’ Parknsun has firmly established himself as one of the most exciting and dynamic MC’s to emerge from the UK with his captivating stage presence, unmistakable rugged voice and effortless flow.
