From the early days of borrowing tape packs from her dad to headlining international jungle stages, Mrs Magoo has carved an extraordinary path through the UK drum & bass and jungle scene. Hailing from Edinburgh, Shannon “Mrs Magoo” Magoo has spent nearly two decades refining her craft, and today she stands as one of the most respected and in-demand DJs in the genre.

Her story began at just eight years old, absorbing the sounds of Helter Skelter, Accelerated Culture, and Sidewinder alongside the punk and rock records her mum loved. By 17, she was stepping onto the dancefloor at her first rave, Rebirth, and soon after got her hands on a pair of 1210s. What started as a love for happy hardcore evolved into a devotion to jungle and drum & bass, culminating in her first headline set at Jungle Nation Aberdeen in 2013—a pivotal moment that launched her professional career.

Mrs Magoo’s rise has been rapid. From running weekly internet radio shows to commanding stages worldwide, she has toured North America multiple times, brought her signature sound to Glasgow, London, the US, and Glastonbury Festival, and cemented her reputation as a selector with infectious energy, razor-sharp mixing, and a deep understanding of jungle’s rhythmic heart. Her sets are built on rolling drum & bass, crashing amen breaks, and ragga-infused layers, all delivered with precision and flair that keep dancefloors moving and crowds hooked.

A key figure in the scene, Mrs Magoo has developed close affiliations with Deep In The Jungle Records, Bellyman’s Car Barz show, and DJ Hybrid’s Deep In The Jungle crew, alongside residencies at Jungle Splash London, Unity Edinburgh, and Better Breakbeat Bureau USA. She has performed alongside legends such as Nicky Blackmarket, Kenny Ken, and Randall, proving her skill and earning the respect of peers and fans alike. Her work on labels including Deep In The Jungle and Audio Addict has helped keep jungle vibrant and authentic while introducing new listeners to its roots.

Despite a career packed with achievements, Mrs Magoo shows no signs of slowing down. She continues to expand her reach with new international bookings, plans for original productions, and a line of merchandise that reflects her unique identity as both a DJ and ambassador of the jungle movement.
