How To Enter Our DJ Competition
Everyone is welcome to enter, from bedroom DJ’s, to live streamers, through to Carl Cox if he wants to.
You can live in any country.
You just need a passion for Jungle Music and some skills on the decks.
You can use sync buttons if you want, vinyl only if you’d rather; you will be judged on your technical skills, tune selection and flair as an artist. Judging will be carried our by industry experts alongside Junglist Network and there is a public voting round!
Public Vote Round
Send in a 30 – 60 minute mix as an .mp3 or a .wav.
It must contain at least 50% Jungle (old or new).
Send in a picture of yourself with the mix; they will both be added to the Junglist Network Mixcloud.
Each mix will be shared on our socials and added to a competition page on our site.
The 30 with the combination of the most likes, comments and time listened will get through to the next round
Send your mix and a photo via email only (please do NOT upload them anywhere else or send links to uploaded set). Title the email “2026 DJ Competition entry” – send them to info@junglistnetwork.com
All entrants must be in by the 14th of September
Video Mix Round
The 30 DJ’s who are through from the last round will be asked to make a video mix.
This round can be any genre you want.
15 – 30 minutes long, clearly showing the decks and your hands. It can have other camera angles too. It must not be edited and must show one continuous mix.
You will also need to send in a paragraph about yourself.
We will then be uploading them to our YouTube and socials, as well as making a page on our site where you can view them all.
This round is judged by the Junglist Network crew and only 10 people will make it to the next round
The Semi Final
The 10 who made it through will be asked to make a 100% Jungle (old, new or both) video minimix. 15 minutes length max and you need to cram as much into that short time.
Every second counts to make an impact with your skills and tune selection on this round.
All entrants will be shared on our social pages only and the winners will be judged by Marvellous Cain and Junglist Network based on skills and tune selection.
The Final
The last 3 entrants battle it out on a live stream, watched by you and a panel of industry experts (DJ’s, Producers, Label owners).
Each entrant will be marked out of 10 for technical skills, tune selection and overall vibe before we add up the votes and announce the winner.
Our Last DJ Competition Winner
DJ Hundread was our last competition winner back in 2019. Watch the video that won him the Junglist Network Jungle DJ of the year prize.
