Review of Hungry T’s latest release on Digital Roots

The 14th release from Digital Roots is about to drop soon and boy have they got a treat install for the Junglists out there.

Hungry T hits us up with 2 pieces of fine music sure to appeal to both the DJs and Ravers alike!

Track 1 – Friction on my feet

This one comes in with an Old Skool vibe from the off, and breaks down into an old skool anthem which shall remain nameless before the drop, and drop it does! Definitely one of the biggest baslines I’ve heard roaring into action in a while, drums are relentless and on point, everything fits into place nicely and with that sampled old skool hook this track has the best of both worlds from light to dark in an instant, sure to be a crowd pleaser on the dancefloor.

Track 2 – Feelings

Track starts off nice and eeree with a little snippet of the vocal sample coming in, plenty going on here. Breakdown is nice and straightforward with a gentle riser leading us into the bassline which holds no prisoners accompanied by the vocal, as the tune rolls on the bassline steps up a gear leading us into the dark jungle that has a light on the other side. Big tune with lots of soul, sure to mash up tha place!
