Rewind Culture – Thrilla ina Jungle Remixes

Dubwise Station 017

Next up from the DS camp released on 17th December we have a 5 track Remix package of tunes from Rewind Culture’s 2015 album’Thrilla in Jungle’

This release has collaborations with producers from across the globe, so it really is a good snapshot of the worldwide scene right now with tunes straight out of Mexico, Serbia, France and the UK.

First up we have Fokus remixing the ‘Dub Bop Song’ in a nice mellow dubwise style and fashion, up next for the 2nd track DJ Misjah and Embassy remix ‘Yes we’re kid’, one for the bubblers, nice bassline and a step smoother than the original Jump Up version plus who can forget that classic vocal from back in the day ‘dub dub dub plate plate plate biz biz niiizzz’

Track number 3 of the release we have Mexican DJ/Producer Isaac Maya bringing the vibes with a Juiced up version of ‘Parklane Dance’, keeping true to original flavour but making the tune his own, definitely one for the dancefloor.

Track 4 is a Remix of ‘Strickly Weed’ and has DJ Veak at the controls with a beast of a BIG Bassline for the subwoofers, bringing a tougher edge to the original, contender for track of the release!”

Closing off the release in fine style is label artist ‘U.Stone’ who had a remix of this track ‘Remember Dem’ on the original album. Of course this track features the Ragga Twins and I think U.Stone has done a sweet job bringing this one to us with a sharper edge, absolute trouble in the camp dropping this one! FIIIIIRRRRREEEEE!!!!

Wicked remix package and a few producers to keep an eye out for in 2017!

Big shout out to Rewind Culture and all @ Dubwise Station.
