The Jungle Vine

Part 2

Meanwhile in the World of Jungle………

Benny Page continues his monumental “Should a Know” European tour. So far touching down at Jungle Mania and Aries birthday in Birmingham. Next stop is on the 15th in Barcelona, 16th in Germany. Then Newcastle, Nottingham, Bristol, Italy and Switzerland. Proof if proof was needed that if you do it right and keep your releases tight and almost as importantly your promo tight, you can take Jungle to the next level. Benny Page is one of the few current Jungle artists that releases solid back to back releases with music videos, press releases and we are glad to see it’s working like it should.

Lost City and Liondub international have just released “Lost City”. Another monster Jungle release, we hardly mention that Liondub is another artist pushing Jungle on into new unchartered territory (to boldly go where no Junglist has gone before……). This new album features Navigator, Bunny General, Liondub (of course), Nico D, Don Goliath and loads more massive names. As usual it’s a ground breaker. You can listen and buy it on Juno

Moondance have released the lineup for the Moondance Festival on Sunday 18th September. Line up includes Jungle Mania and Roast teaming up for one of the arenas. Artists include Congo Natty, Dillinja and Randall, Grooverider, Micky Finn, DJ Ron, Kenny Ken, Brockie, Bryan G, Frost, Shimon, Dr S Gachet and Ash a Tak. There are arenas from Epidemik for the Old Skool Massive (with a set hosted by MC MC and set from the ever amazing Shut Up and Dance). It’s being held at Hopkins Field in Stratford, London.

Flex Records are back in the game after a nearly ten year absence. We’ll be featuring an interview with them and a review of their new album “Back in the Jungle” which features a massive 33 big tracks. Expect big things from them in the future and keep your eyes out for the album which is out on April 22nd.
The unstoppable United Colours of Jungle return to the Qube Project in London for another monster Jungle mashup. This time round they have Fabio, Jumpin Jack Frost, Ray Keith, Nicky Blackmarket, Remarc, Brockie, GQ, Fearless, Navigator, Ragga Twins and so many more. It’s on Friday the 8th of July and looks set to be another roadblock.
