Review of Agony and Coca Cola Remixes

KLP records celebrate their 3rd release with a little Ragga Jungle belter from Lion UK

Released on 30th June as a 3 track digital EP – check out their fbook page for details.

Lion.UK although an London original is based in Cardiff these days. Good to see the Welsh are still represented in the Jungle family.  Lion.UK played acid house raves in the 80’s and moved through rave genres in his long career ending up where all good things end up, in Jungle.

This release features 3 tracks, 2 remixes of Coco Cola and an exclusive of Agony by reggae / ragga legend Pinchers. Trippy repetitive vocals over an old skool break, dark and heavy basslines, old skool breaks. It’s like the 90’s never finished. The breakdown drops the full vocal and builds it up to a massive bassline drop.  A dancefloor destroyer!

The Coco Cola remixes both kick up dark bassline synths with old reggae effects, jungle dub! The longer vocal creates a less trippy vibe with more of a reggae feel to it.

Big things from KLP and Lion.UK
