Review of ‘Lion Killa EP’ Vol 3
Lion Killa EP vol 3 reviewed by DJ Rapid
Turtlian and Nitros feat shapuungo (Dj Narcs Remix)
One of my favs on the ep, got a propa jungle feel to it. Intro is wicked nice build up with a wicked melody with the ragga style vocal with a sub bass in back ground, big drop with the dead dread style warping bass and a switch of bass that reminds me of Ray Keiths Terrorist, BIG TUNE!
King Ital – What A Gwaan (FLeCK Jungle Remix)
This tune is the ragga vocal tune that will get ravers rolling at 3am, fat vocals, fat beats, rolling bass, def one jus to drop for old school heads.
Dj L.A.B – Everday Junglist
This tune is probaly one of the darker tunes on the EP, brining back the every day junglist vocal, with that jungle beat and raw bass that drops with it, well dark but a decent tune.
Invisible Landscape – Weed
This one does exactly what it says on the tin, pure funky jungle, funky intro with rolling beats on the side then drops with ragga vocals about getting HIGH, tune for the weed smokers lol.
Safary Beats – More Corruption
This reminds me of a tune from 97, the intro beat got that old school vibe not jungle but a few years after that when the music was changing an going in a diffrent direction, around a decent tune with ragga style vocals mixed in there.
All round Lion Killa EP Vol3 is a decent EP, something in there for everyone to have a good time to weather your raving od Djing to this, 3 tunes are stand out tracks on the EP and might not be to everyones taste but this one deff for old school heads like myself on others that have heard this, FAT EP.
